I so wish I was the person that had everything done and wrapped up in a pretty little bow by now. You know the people. Those folks who do all the holiday shopping before December even shows her pretty face. But if I were to be really honest, I don’t think that would be as much fun. I think I secretly enjoy the hustle of finding gifts as Christmas approaches. It’s part of the fun for me. And honestly, Serena & Lily is making it too easy this year. Everything sitting pretty on their shelves will make you look like the most stylish Santa around.

Read MoreLittle Compton might be my favorite little corner of Rhode Island. I don't like to mention it much, because I'm afraid the secret will get out - but it's really just so special. Mainly because it's so untouched by tourism, and time really does seem to stand still. Drives through Little Compton include miles and miles of stone walls crashing into the sea (that's a little dramatic, but it's kind of true), farms, beautiful homes covered in weathered shingles, quaint little town centers and that old school New England charm that truly makes my heart sing.
