For some reason, people ask me about wine all the time. It might be because I talk or joke about it constantly, or maybe it's because almost all my shoots involve a cocktail in some capacity. Actually, that's probably it. Regardless, it's funny to me because I'm not a huge wine connoisseur. Now, I know a good wine from two buck chuck (remember him?) but you'll rarely see me turn my nose up at anything (really this applies to everything in life). This year has been the year of the one piece for me. For a few reasons. When I'm at the beach, I love to swim. I love to play in the sand with my friend's kiddos. I love to take long walks when the sun starts to set. All of these things are a pain in the neck in a bikini. I've fought it for long enough. But now, at 35, I'm all one piece all the way. And I'm totally happy about it.

When it comes to the beach, I'm totally a hat girl. I would like to say it's because I'm super careful about SPF (which I am, but I definitely slip up from time to time) but really, it's because I like to look somewhat pulled together even if I've been swimming the day away or running around chasing my friends' kiddos (I don't sit still very well...). Hats just save the day in so many ways. I tend to favor the more traditional variety (shocker), which I think is very apparent in my selections below.
