OK, I know it's cinco de mayo, and there are going to be a million salsa and margarita recipes floating around the web today (you should check this one out I styled), but I am going to bring you something equally buzz-worthy - tulips. And I'm bringing them by way of Erin McGinn's take-your-jaw-off-the-floor images. Really, they are so dreamy they make me want to kiss each pretty petal in the pictures. You really have to experience it to believe it.
Read MoreBrimfield is a magical little (ok, not little at all) flea market in Massachusetts that attracts people from all over the country, and for good reason, it's kind of a mecca for hidden treasures. If you haven't been, I highly recommend taking the trip during one of the three weeks they are open in the summer (the first being next week - May 9 - 14th). I'll grab a handful of goldfish, some carrots & hummus or an entire bag of chips and salsa (seriously, how does that happen so fast?) throughout the day without even thinking. It's just easy to graze since I'm cooking for a party of one all day. But I'm determined to put some time in making things during the day that really fuel me, with fresh, quality ingredients. Aka I want to start eating like an adult.

Packing away the puffy coats and freeing all the color that was hiding in my closet for months - the gingham, florals and pastels - it's such a lovely feeling. Although, since getting this handsome little number for Otto's spring look - I've realized I should be careful when walking out of the house. I'm not sure if playing twinsies with your dog is appropriate at my age...
