Cozy Winter Pajamas + Guest Bedroom Wishlist

Why are we in the guest room to ring in 2020 you ask? Well, we had a less than healthy start to the new year. Andrew had the flu, I had some weird super cold and Henry had a fever. The joys! These cozy pjs from Serena & Lily were my only saving grace. A tiny little luxury in an otherwise chaotic week. My sister and brother were in town with their families - so we had a full house on top of it. Sounds kind of miserable, but we really made the most of it and had a ton of fun (except for Andrew - we kept him quarantined in the master bedroom).

However, the time in the guest room made me REALLY want to finally finish this little space (which I have been saying for 10 years now).

I absolutely love the wallpaper we installed last year from Serena & Lily and the bedding is perfect - but everything else is a total stand in until I can justify a splurge or two. I really want to upgrade the headboard to this beauty with these sweet night stands. And finally, replace our super duper old IKEA dresser with this serious upgrade from our current situation.

It all totally works for now, and really is a comfy little room. However I’m thankful I can move back into the master bedroom and we are all healthy at this exact moment (knock on wood). Any one else drag their feet when trying to justify changing a room that is perfectly fine, yet also kind of drives you crazy?! Meanwhile, I can barely even look into our other guest room. So many projects. So little money trees.
