I've admired the ladies over at Glitter Guide from the moment they started their gorgeous website. Their overall brand and focus on gorgeous imagery has truly made them stand out, and their positive message is what really won me over from the start. So I am completely honored and humbled to kick off 2017 with a feature of our sweet little abode on their stunning site. If you are popping over from there, this is me welcoming you with open arms (which are probably also covered in dog hair, oops).

We bought our home over seven years ago, which just sounds absolutely crazy. We were young, had zero furniture and had been used to living in tiny Boston, Providence and California apartments. So when we moved into our house, we knew decorating at a slow and steady pace was going to be part of the deal.

Trust me, there is still SO much I would like to do. So much. But, I must say, we love this little house nestled on the coast of Rhode Island. We love entertaining in it, I love working in it, and although we don't have kids yet - we know it's going to be an amazing place to grow up - because in a way, we are doing just that right now.

It's not fussy, nothing is too perfect, and there isn't anything too precious that can't be replaced. We like it that way. I want to really live in our house. It's comfy and welcoming (we hope), and really, what more can you wish for?

So we are thrilled to open our doors to you today. We only wish we could offer you a glass of bubbly...
