The Tides Beach Club: Kennebunkport, Maine
After our trip to Hidden Pond in June (which was a complete dream, btw), we fell head over heels with Kennebunkport. So when the amazing folks at the Kennebunkport Resort Collection invited us back to stay at another one of their dreamy resorts, The Tides Beach Club, we obviously jumped at the opportunity. We arrived on the most perfectly gorgeous September day, and immediately felt at home in the beautiful space. Decorated in a way that is perfect parts coastal and chic, this hotel truly speaks to me.
I'm a crazy person, and I always wake up at the crack of dawn - so I was excited to watch the sunrise the first morning we got there. Being right across the street from the beach has its benefits. And holy moly, did the sun really put on a show that morning.
After grabbing a leisurely cup of coffee on the amazing front porch (we could honestly sit there all day), we decided to go explore Kennebunkport a bit. It's such a darling little town, and we feel like we need weeks to really uncover all the cuteness - but we did our best! We ate lunch at another sister property of the Kennebunkport Resort Collection - David's at The Boathouse - and then moved on for a little afternoon cocktail on The Spirit of Massachusetts because who doesn't love a little glass of rosé on a sailboat?
We made our way back to Tides to get ready for dinner at Earth at Hidden Pond. AKA the best restaurant ever. We are a little obsessed with this place, and were so excited to get to go back. We ate in a little potting shed covered in stunning art work, and the entire night just felt like magic.
The problem with having such a great weekend is always having to say goodbye. Kennebunkport is starting to feel like a home away from home! We decided to extend the fun by stopping by the gorgeous Nubble Light in York, Maine on our way home - it's a must see for sure.
Until next time, Maine. You really are the perfect example of the way life should be.
